ART masters
ART Masters was a high-profile project that ran from 2019 to 2023, dedicated to promoting contemporary Ukrainian artists and bringing their works to international attention. Initiated and curated by Victoria Stepanets, the project took the form of special editions—printed volumes showcasing a curated selection of Ukraine’s most talented and innovative artists. These editions were distributed widely both within Ukraine and across Europe, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, playing a key role in the country's cultural diplomacy efforts.
ART Masters had a significant impact on the visibility of Ukrainian contemporary art within Europe, playing a critical role in the country's soft power efforts and cultural outreach. By collaborating with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the project ensured that the art was not only seen by European art professionals but also appreciated by a broader public that may not have been familiar with Ukrainian culture.
The special editions garnered attention from art critics, collectors, and cultural institutions, helping to elevate Ukrainian contemporary art on the international stage. This not only provided a platform for Ukrainian artists to showcase their works but also helped to create meaningful dialogue between Ukrainian and European artistic communities.
ART Masters was an ambitious and impactful project that not only celebrated the talents of contemporary Ukrainian artists but also served as a powerful vehicle for cultural dialogue and international outreach. It contributed significantly to shaping Ukraine's cultural identity on the global art scene, showcasing the country's rich creative heritage and the dynamic future of its contemporary art movement.
